Yellow Diamond Engagement Rings
Canary diamonds are also known as yellow diamonds or fancy colored
diamonds. They are the rarest of all known diamonds today. Only 1 in
every 1000 diamonds is a canary diamond.
The most famous canary diamond is the Kahn canary diamond. The Kahn
canary diamond is the unofficial symbol of the State of Arkansas. It was
found in the Crater of Diamonds State park near Murfreesboro, Arkansas
in 1977 by George Stepp of Carthage, Arkansas.
Stepp later sold the magnificent canary diamond to Stan Kahn of Kahn Jewelers, Pinebluff, Arkansas. This canary diamond is very unique because of its flawless condition and a naturally occurring soft trilliant shape. The Kahn canary diamond has remained uncut till date.
It was lent to Hillary Clinton to wear at all of Bill Clinton's inaugurals, both as Governor of Arkansas, and as President of the United States. The uncut nature of the Kahn canary diamond represents the State of Arkansas or The Natural State perfectly.
